  • CLIMATE

Dubai has a subtropical and arid climate. High temperatures can be expected during most of the year, whilst rainfalls are infrequent. Rains can be expected between December to March. June till September is a extremely hot time so be prepared. Humidity well above 60% , so the best time to visit Dubai is definitely during the winter months, when average temperature range between 14 and 30 degrees.

ARABIC IS THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE OF THE UAE. English, Hindi, Malayalam and Urdu, such as Tagalog are widely spoken. Arabic is the official business language. English is used at most road signs , shops signs and restaurant menus.

IF YOU WITNESS AND ACCIDENT OR NEED AN AMBULANCE IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION, THE NUMBER TO CALL IS 999. There are several private medical hospitals with excellent facilities. The American Hospital Dubai is among the biggest and most trusted. Anyone can receive emergency treatments in government hospitals but charges apply for people without Dubai health cards.

  • TELEPHONE AND INTERNET

ETISALAT AND DU ARE THE LOCA MOBILE TELECOMS COMPANIES and have reciprocal agreements with most countries for roaming services, allowing visitors to use their mobile in the UAE.
